She conducts research with a focus on evaluating sources and transport of atmospheric aerosol pollutants and their impact on radiative perturbations over the Indian subcontinent and ocean; Role of spatial and temporal variations in radiative perturbation on precipitation and Indian monsoon; Sources and transport of black carbon aerosol and its deposition over Himalayan glaciers and role on regional hydrology; Receptor modelling approaches for estimation of optimized aerosol emissions over India and sensitivity analysis of emissions to aerosol radiative effects and human health.
