Jon Håvard Hartveit Eriksrød

I’m a PhD-Candidate in Electronics from the Department of Informatics here at UiO.

My research is focused on radar imaging systems for time-lapse photography of snow packs. Radar imaging for geological use is very much interdisciplinary and includes areas like geophysics, antennas and propagation, RF design, and Signal processing and electronics. My main field of interest is antennas and radio electronics. But I'm perhaps even more fascinated by using electromagnetic waves for imaging the physical world, and the interaction between the medium the wave.
